Rooted in Compassion. Built to Restore.
The Vision
We believe in a world where every person in crisis has access to immediate, compassionate, and consistent care free of judgment and full of dignity. At TADH, we envision communities where restored lives create restored neighborhoods, and where service is not just occasional, but ongoing. We are here to meet urgent needs today while building long-term stability for tomorrow.
The Mission
The Allocated at Delia’s House exists to reduce the scarcity of basic resources across our community. Through hands-on outreach and faith-rooted action, we provide food, clothing, hygiene items, emergency support, and practical tools for people experiencing housing insecurity, displacement, or financial hardship.
Our work is rooted in restoration, not just material relief, but relational support, spiritual encouragement, and pathways toward dignity, wholeness, and hope.
The People We Walk With
TADH supports individuals and families across Northern Virginia, with a focus on those experiencing systemic poverty, housing instability, recent migration, and other urgent life transitions. Whether someone is rebuilding after release from incarceration, fleeing domestic violence, or simply trying to make ends meet, we meet them where they are, offering direct support, community connection, and the consistency many systems lack.
The Difference Your Support Makes
When you give to TADH — whether your time, resources, or partnership — you’re not just giving handouts. You’re helping create systems of care that reach overlooked individuals and break cycles of instability.
Your support enables us to operate with zero cost to those we serve, offering services like:
Hot meals and food distributions
Clothing and hygiene items
Cell phone plans and PO boxes for critical access
Shower and laundry memberships for the unsheltered
Community cleanups and youth mentorship programs
Every resource we provide begins with a simple principle: meet the need, build the trust, walk the journey.
Meet Our Founders
TADH was founded by Leyla and Marisela, two young women whose own experiences with scarcity and service sparked a desire to do more for their community.
Leyla, a nursing student, is committed to expanding access to free, community-based healthcare. Her goal is to open a no-cost clinic through TADH that offers preventative care, basic screenings, and health education to those without insurance or stable housing. With a strong belief that healthcare is a human right, Leyla serves at the intersection of compassion and medical advocacy, building partnerships, supporting wellness outreach, and preparing to bridge the gap between clinical care and street-level need. Her leadership ensures that TADH is not only responding to physical needs but also caring for the whole person.
Marisela, currently studying social work, is leading a new approach at TADH by implementing relational case management. Walking alongside clients as they navigate housing, mental health care, and crisis resources. Her long-term goal is to open a private practice through TADH, offering low-to-no-cost counseling and support services to people in transition. Her casework is rooted in trust, advocacy, and presence, ensuring that no one navigating instability has to do it alone. Marisela brings structure to our support systems while keeping care personal, flexible, and community-driven.
Together, they’ve mobilized hundreds of volunteers, served thousands of pounds of food and clothing, and built a faith-driven organization centered on giving freely and loving well. Their leadership represents what’s possible when passion meets structure — and what can happen when young people lead with vision.
